Longhorn Tailgate Sprinter

One Texan Longhorn fan drove off with this custom built tailgater happier than a gopher in soft dirt. The 2008 170” extended cab Sprinter was built for an owner of a chain of restaurants in Texas. He wanted something that would wow friends and family. This Maverick fits the bill, perfect for travel and partying.

 

A J-lounge sofa on the driver’s side rear accommodates three more people. A removable table located in the middle is stored in the rear under the lounge when not in use.

 

The stereo and video system unit control head are mounted in a overhead cabinet.
 

The vehicle features state-of-the-art electronics, a front cabin AM-FM-CD-DVD stereo control head and a "smart" power inverter and battery charger. The sound system is designed to provide full sound range, even at low volumes. Two ceiling mounted 26-inch LCD TVs can be flip down by a motorized power lift. There is plenty of storage area provided in overhead storage cabinets and the under the refrigerator. Other built-in amenities include a KVH In Motion Satellite Dish, wireless internet, gaming jacks, and wireless headsets.

 

The mid section features four seats with reclining swivel chairs and a removable table located in the center of the seating area.

 
 

The factory stereo was removed and replaced with an Pioneer double DIN unit with DVD and Navigation, and a back up camera monitoring system.
